Which Dutch course is right for me?

Don't worry, there's something just right for you! Whether you prefer full-on attention and specialised guidance through private lessons, learning together with your spouse, or working a bit more independent with self-study...

How long does it take to learn Dutch?

That really depends on you! Your starting level, your goals, and how much time you are willing to dedicate. Usually within 3-6 monhts a solid foundation can be build.

Also good to keep in mind: language learning is not linear. Sometimes progress becomes less noticeable before you make the next leap forward. 

How much does it cost?

Online self-study is available from as little as €100 per month, with optional private classes available to book for just €52. For private or duo classes, you'll pay between €60 and €77, depending on the package. Small-group courses cost €570 for 22 classes of 1.5 hours each. Read also the course descriptions for more info.

Are all Dutch courses online?

Yes! Join from the comfort of your own home, or from wherever you are in the world. Based in Portugal myself, I do love meeting my students face-to-face whenever I'm in the Netherlands. 

Do you offer a course to prepare for the Dutch integration exam?

Yes, I can absolutely help you prepare for your integration exam! I've helped many students pass their exams quickly and effectively. We can work with private classes, self-study, or a combination of both. Get in touch and we'll make a plan that works for you!

How do private and duo classes work?

Private and duo classes are fully tailored to you! We focus on what you want and need to improve, whether that's speaking, grammar, pronuncation, confidence or preparing for a specific goal. Duo classes are a great option if you want to learn together with your spouse, friend or colleague.

How does the self-study work?

You'll work with an online e-learning module that covers all language skills: vocabulary, reading, listening, writing, grammar, pronunciation and even speaking. You'll have teacher support and guidance every step of the way.

I recommend booking 1:1 classes at a discounted rate to get the most out of your self-study. Available for levels A0-B2.

Do I need to know Dutch before I start?

Not at all! You can start from complete beginner level. If you already know some Dutch, we'll first figure out your level and make sure you start in the right place.
